Inter Milan secured a big 5-3 victory over Udinese on Monday in the fourth round of the Italian Serie A.

Udinese took an early lead through James Abankwah in the ninth minute, before Jurgen Ekkelenkamp added the second goal in the 16th minute.

Inter began their comeback through Carlos Augusto’s goal in the 26th minute, before Nicolo Barella equalized with a second goal in the 35th minute.

The Nerazzurri took the lead for the first time in the match through Marcus Thuram in the 57th minute, before Pio Esposito added Inter’s fourth goal in the 67th minute.

Ivorian substitute Ange-Yoan Bonny completed Inter’s scoring spree by netting the fifth goal in the 79th minute, while Idrissa Gueye scored a consolation goal for Udinese in stoppage time.

Inter thus returned to the top of the Serie A table with 12 points, level with Roma, while Udinese remained in 13th place with four points.
