Jordan’s Basketball Team Advances to the Asian Games Quarterfinals

Al-Taj News – Jordan’s national basketball team advanced to the quarterfinals of the Asian Games on Sunday, being held in the Japanese city of Nagoya, according to the Jordan Olympic Committee.

The national team advanced after finishing the Group B competition in third place with 4 points, earned from a win over Qatar and two losses to Chinese Taipei and Iran.

The national team’s advancement to the quarterfinals was confirmed as one of the two best third-placed teams across the three groups, following the conclusion of the competitions in Groups A and B.

The national team concluded its group-stage campaign on Sunday with an 68-81 defeat to Iran.
