Greater Amman Municipality Begins Implementing Changes to Traffic Directions Around the Medical District in Jabal Amman

Al-Taj News – The Greater Amman Municipality, through the Traffic Operations Department and in cooperation and coordination with the Traffic Department, began implementing changes to traffic directions on a number of streets surrounding the Medical District in the Jabal Amman area on Friday morning, with the aim of organizing traffic and enhancing its flow in the area.

The changes included converting Al-Mutanabbi Street from a two-way street into a one-way street, while the traffic direction on Nineveh Street was reversed to make it an exit route toward Ibn Khaldoun Street.

These changes are part of the traffic measures being implemented by the Greater Amman Municipality in coordination with the Traffic Department, with the aim of organizing traffic and improving the efficiency of the road network, thereby contributing to reducing congestion and improving vehicle flow around the Medical District.

The Greater Amman Municipality and the Traffic Department called on drivers and road users to pay attention to the new changes, comply with traffic signs, signals, and approved traffic directions, and follow the instructions of Traffic Department personnel working in the field, in the interest of public safety and smooth traffic flow.
