Messi Announces His Retirement from International Football with Argentina

Al-Taj News – Argentine star Lionel Messi announced on Monday his retirement from international football with his national team, bringing to an end a distinguished career during which he led Argentina to World Cup glory in 2022 and two Copa América titles.

The 39-year-old Messi is Argentina’s all-time leading scorer and most-capped player, having scored dozens of goals during a career that spanned more than two decades.
