Energy Authority Inspects Electricity Network Readiness to Ensure Continuity of Supply

Ziad Al-Saaydeh, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission, inspected on Sunday the operations center and the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) control room at the Electricity Distribution Company to review the readiness of the electricity network and the measures taken to ensure continuity of supply, in the presence of the company’s Director General, Reem Hamdan.

Al-Saaydeh stressed the importance of integrating efforts between the Commission and energy sector companies, directing the Commission’s teams to continue regulatory and field follow-up through the Monitoring and Emergency Center, and to strengthen coordination with the relevant authorities around the clock.
