Al-Shobaki: We Hope the Gas Pipeline Explosion in Syria Did Not Damage the Main Route from Jordan

Al-Taj News – Energy and oil expert engineer Amer Al-Shobaki said he hopes that the damage resulting from the explosion of gas pipelines in Syria did not affect the main route of the pipeline that transports gas from Jordan to the Deir Ali power plant in Syria, from which it branches toward Lebanon.

Al-Shobaki explained in a post on his Facebook page that damage to the main route could disrupt gas supplies to Syria and delay supplies to Lebanon, potentially postponing the major hopes that the three countries have placed on cooperation in the energy sector.
