Al-Taj News – The countries of the Quadrilateral Group, comprising Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Pakistan, and Turkey, strongly condemned the ongoing hostile attacks carried out by the Houthi militia against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including the attacks that targeted King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.

In a statement published by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the group said that the attacks on the airport resulted in the death and injury of a number of civilians and caused damage to infrastructure and civilian facilities, considering them a flagrant violation of international law.

An Assault on Saudi Arabia’s Sovereignty and a Threat to Its Security

The four countries affirmed that these attacks constitute a blatant assault on the Kingdom’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and a direct threat to its security, stability, and the safety of civilians, in addition to being a dangerous escalation that cannot be justified or accepted under any pretext.

Support for Legitimate Measures to Protect the Kingdom

The group expressed its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support for all legitimate measures and steps it takes to confront the attacks, deter sources of threat, and prevent their recurrence.
