Arab Condemnation of Houthi Attacks on Abha and King Khalid Airports

Al-Taj News – The Arab League strongly condemned the continued attacks by the Houthi militia against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the latest of which were the two attacks that targeted Abha International Airport and King Khalid International Airport, expressing its regret over the deaths and injuries of a number of citizens and residents, in addition to material damage at the two airports.

The League affirmed that targeting civil aviation facilities and endangering the lives of passengers and workers represents an extremely dangerous escalation, a flagrant violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty, and a clear breach of the rules of international law and the United Nations Charter, warning of the risks of the continuation of these attacks, their expansion in scope, and the repeated targeting of civilian and vital facilities.

The Arab League renewed its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and its support for it in confronting any attacks targeting its security, stability, sovereignty, and the safety of its citizens and residents on its territory, affirming that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of Arab national security.
