Crown Prince Meets Croatian Prime Minister on Sidelines of “Med 9” Southern European Countries Summit

Al-Taj News – His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II met, Tuesday, Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković on the sidelines of the “Med 9” Southern European Countries Summit, which begins Wednesday in the Croatian city of Split.

During the meeting, His Royal Highness expressed his appreciation for the invitation extended to Jordan to participate as a main guest in the summit’s proceedings for the third consecutive year, which confirms the strength of relations between the Kingdom, Croatia and the “Med 9” group countries.

The “Med 9” group comprises nine European Union member states from Southern Europe, namely Croatia, Cyprus, France, Greece, Italy, Malta, Portugal, Slovenia, and Spain.

The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in various fields, as His Royal Highness the Crown Prince spoke about the Jordanian-European Investment Conference, which the Kingdom will host next November, and its importance in strengthening partnerships between Jordan and European Union countries.
