Major General Al-Harasais Receives U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs

Al-Taj News – Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Major General Staff Majdi Mohammad Al-Harasais received, Tuesday, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs Flete White and the accompanying delegation.

Major General Staff Al-Harasais, in the presence of a number of senior officers of the Armed Forces and the U.S. Ambassador in Amman, discussed aspects of bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries and ways to develop and strengthen it in various military and defense fields, as well as a number of issues of common interest in a manner that serves the interests of the two countries.

For his part, the guest praised the efforts made by Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, in enhancing security and stability in the region, stressing the importance of the role played by the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army, in confronting challenges and enhancing regional security.
