UAE and Israel Confirm Visit.. What Did Netanyahu Ask Abu Dhabi?

Al-Taj News – The official Emirates News Agency said on Monday that the President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, received Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who visited the United Arab Emirates on Sunday.

The agency added that bin Zayed and Netanyahu discussed during the meeting bilateral relations between the UAE and Israel and ways to strengthen and develop them.

For his part, the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office announced on Monday that Netanyahu and his wife visited the United Arab Emirates on Sunday at the invitation of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The office added, in a post on the Israeli prime minister’s account on the X platform, that the visit focused on strengthening relations between the two countries and discussing regional challenges, explaining that Netanyahu was accompanied during the visit by the head of the National Security Council, the head of the Mossad, the defense minister, and the foreign policy adviser.

Netanyahu’s Request to bin Zayed

The Israeli newspaper Haaretz revealed that during his visit to the UAE, Netanyahu asked bin Zayed to deny what had been reported in an earlier newspaper report stating that the Emirati president had warned him, in a 45-minute phone call, of an imminent attack by Hamas shortly before October 7, 2023.
