Jordan Commercial Bank Named Platinum Sponsor of Jordan FinTech Festival 2026
Al-Taj News – As part of its commitment to supporting digital transformation in the banking sector, promoting innovation in financial services, and contributing to the development of the fintech ecosystem in the Kingdom in line with the rapid developments taking place in the financial sector locally and regionally, Jordan Commercial Bank sponsored the Jordan FinTech Festival 2026 as a platinum sponsor.
The festival kicked off on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, and continued for two days at the King Hussein bin Talal Convention Center in the Dead Sea area under the theme “Where Regulation Meets Innovation.” It was organized by the Central Bank of Jordan in partnership with the Association of Banks in Jordan, in cooperation with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), with the participation of a distinguished group of financial institutions, regulatory bodies, fintech companies, investors, and experts from Jordan, the region, and around the world.
The festival aims to strengthen the fintech ecosystem in the Kingdom, support digital transformation and financial inclusion, and reinforce Jordan’s position as a regional hub for fintech and innovation. It brought together policymakers, leaders of banks and financial institutions, regulatory bodies, startups, investors, and technology companies to discuss the latest developments in the financial services sector and explore opportunities for cooperation, investment, and partnerships, in addition to exchanging expertise and experiences in fintech and innovation. Discussions also covered key topics including digital payments and digital transformation in the banking and financial sectors, open financial services, digital assets and blockchain technologies, embedded finance, banking as a platform, as well as entrepreneurship, investment, and the development of the startup ecosystem.
