Following Controversy Over His Remarks, Kadim Al Sahir: I Did Not Mean That Men Are a Problem for Women

Al-Taj News – Iraqi artist Kadim Al Sahir has put an end to the recent controversy on social media platforms surrounding his remarks about men and women, during his appearance as a guest on the “ABtalks” program with presenter Anas Bukhash.

Kadim Al Sahir said in media remarks that his comments about men had not been conveyed within the context in which he made them, stressing that he did not mean to describe men as being a problem for women.

Al Sahir explained what he meant by his remarks about men, noting that he was talking about a natural difference he has observed between men and women since childhood, basing his description on the way males behave during childhood.

The Iraqi artist said that men are naturally disorganized, citing the way children behave at an early age, and describing girls as more orderly than boys, in his words.

Kadim Al Sahir commented on the angry reactions from men to his remarks, saying that he had not received any reactions from his male friends, whether expressing anger or objection to his comments, which, according to him, disproves the existence of actual anger among men toward his remarks.

He added that his remarks did not contain anything that should prompt men to be angry with him, explaining that many men agreed with him in his remarks, considering that his comments about men were a sincere acknowledgment on his part.
