Trump: We May Stay in Iran a Little Longer

Al-Taj News – U.S. President Donald Trump said that the United States had eliminated Iran’s nuclear capabilities during the attacks it launched against the country, adding, “We may stay there a little longer.”

This came in a speech he delivered on Saturday in Highlands Heights, Kentucky, which he visited as part of the campaign for the congressional midterm elections scheduled for November 3.

Referring to the attacks launched by the United States and Israel against Iran on February 28, Trump said: “As you know, during that short trip I made to the beautiful Islamic Republic of Iran, we inflicted tremendous destruction on them. But we also eliminated their nuclear capabilities during that trip.”

Trump reiterated that Iran must not be allowed to possess nuclear weapons.
