Axios: Trump Supporters Call for Martial Law in America Over Fears of “Election Fraud”

Al-Taj News – The Axios website revealed that activists and associates of U.S. President Donald Trump who belong to the MAGA movement are openly calling for extraordinary measures, including the imposition of martial law, if they suspect election fraud during the midterm elections scheduled for next November.

The website highlighted developments and discussions within the movement, whose name is derived from the phrase “Make America Great Again” and which its Democratic opponents describe as extremist.

These calls for imposing martial law come despite the absence of evidence indicating the likelihood of fraud in the upcoming elections, and experts’ assertions that such proposals exceed the legal limits of the president’s powers, according to Axios, which notes that those advocating these measures wield influence and have direct access to Trump.

Calls for Extraordinary Measures

According to Axios, MAGA held a video conference on September 30, attended by several prominent activists who warned of widespread security breaches they feared could occur during the elections and called for decisive measures to address them.

During the meeting, which was held on the Rumble platform used by activists in the movement, Peter Ticktin, a lawyer and friend of Trump, stated that “martial law would have to be imposed if another rigged election takes place.”
