Al-Taj News – U.S. President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that he had spoken with the Saudi Crown Prince, noting that he may ask Turkey to intervene in Yemen, amid what he described as the Houthis acting “very badly.”
Trump described Iran as a “failed state,” saying that it has no economy and does not pay its soldiers’ salaries, adding that the United States will make a decision regarding it.
In another context, Trump affirmed that the United States had not stopped providing intelligence assistance to Ukraine, stressing its desire to end the war.
For his part, a U.S. official said that Washington had warned Iran against attacking its military vessels, affirming that the United States would respond by targeting Iranian vessels if one of its own vessels came under attack.
The official added that Washington continues to confront what he described as Iranian hostile acts by countering attacks and ensuring the continued flow of maritime navigation.
