“Interior Ministry”: 100 People Obtained Jordanian Citizenship Through Investment in 2026

Al-Taj News – The Ministry of Interior revealed that the number of people who obtained Jordanian citizenship through investment reached 100 people during the first ten months of 2026.

The ministry said that the number of applications for obtaining visas of various types reached approximately 207,000 visa applications.

It added that the number of applications for obtaining annual residence permits for various purposes was approximately 56,000 applications.

The ministry pointed out that the number of Syrians who obtained approval for a tourist visa to visit the Kingdom for a specified period and leave it reached approximately 155,000, including 144,000 arriving from Syria and 10,500 Syrians holding European documents.

The ministry announced that the number of decisions to deport foreigners from the Kingdom’s territory for violating the applicable legislation reached 17,000 decisions.
