Al-Momani: Jordanian-European Investment Conference Reflects Jordan’s International Standing

Minister of Government Communication and official government spokesperson Mohammad Al-Momani said Thursday that the Jordanian-European Investment Conference, scheduled to be held on November 19, reflects the level of interest and regard that Jordan enjoys at the international level, particularly among European countries.

Al-Momani added, during a meeting with representatives of local and international media outlets in the presence of Minister of Investment Tarek Abu Ghazaleh, that holding a Jordanian-European investment conference carries an important message regarding Jordan’s standing, and confirms the government’s and the Jordanian decision-maker’s interest in the investment file, given its direct impact on developing the economy, attracting investments, and strengthening positive economic indicators.

He pointed out that economic indicators are moving in a positive and upward direction, stressing that these results are backed by intensive efforts undertaken by the relevant ministries and institutions.

Al-Momani affirmed the government’s keenness to keep media outlets informed of the details related to the conference, its objectives, and its dimensions, rather than merely providing them with news and information, allowing them to understand the general context of the event and its importance.
