“Social Security” Launches a New Package of Electronic Services
Al-Taj News – The Social Security Corporation has launched a new package of electronic services through its new mobile application dedicated to individuals, as part of its continued efforts to develop its digital services and expand the scope of transactions that can be completed electronically, making it easier for insured persons, retirees, and beneficiaries to access their services and insurance rights at any time and from anywhere.
The corporation said in a statement on Saturday that the hypothetical calculation service for early and mandatory retirement pensions, which enables subscribers to view the value of their expected pension electronically without having to visit the corporation’s branches, topped the group of new services added to the application.
It noted that the “Include Yourself” service is now available through the application. This service allows workers to submit a notification if they are not covered by Social Security, or if they are not covered based on their actual wage, so that the corporation can verify the case and take the necessary measures to include them in accordance with the provisions of the Social Security Law.
The new package also includes a service for requesting immediate medical treatment for a work injury, which allows a medical treatment request to be submitted electronically if a worker is involved in a work-related accident, facilitating procedures for obtaining immediate medical treatment at various medical entities accredited by the corporation.
The corporation confirmed that the insured person’s dashboard has been expanded to display their period of service and the remaining period until they become eligible for an early and mandatory retirement pension. It noted that this service also provides authorization to access data, allowing individuals to authorize the banks where they hold accounts to access their Social Security data.
It said that the launch of this new package comes as part of its ongoing efforts to develop its electronic services, improve the user experience, and move more services and procedures to easy and secure digital channels, thereby enhancing the public’s access to the corporation’s rights and services without the need to visit its branches.
The corporation called on insured persons, retirees, and beneficiaries to download its application under the name Jordanian Social Security or (SSC Jordan), or update the version they currently have, and benefit from the new and available services through the application at any time and from anywhere.
