Al-Taj News – European markets are no longer merely a new destination for Jordanian exports, but have become a platform where national products are gradually establishing their presence, as the Kingdom moves from simply gaining access to these markets toward strengthening its positioning within them, building deeper production and investment partnerships, and integrating into European value chains.
The Jordanian-European Investment Conference is scheduled to be held on November 19 in the Dead Sea area, under the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II and with the participation of European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, as part of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Jordan and the European Union launched at the beginning of last year.
Economists said that the greatest opportunity lies not only in increasing exports, but also in transforming Jordan into a production and investment partner capable of integrating into European and regional value chains.
They said that the continued increase in Jordanian exports to European Union countries reflects an improvement in the competitiveness of national products and their ability to meet the requirements of European markets.
