Egyptian President: We Will Take Any Action Saudi Arabia Requests to Defend Its Sovereignty

Al-Taj News – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi affirmed on Saturday his country’s full support for the security and stability of its brothers in the Gulf, stressing Cairo’s readiness to take any action requested by Saudi Arabia to defend its security and sovereignty.

In his speech at the graduation ceremony of the first class of the Egyptian Military Academy, President el-Sisi said: “We stand firmly and offer our full support to protect the lands of our brothers in the Gulf and defend them.”

He added that Egypt would not allow Saudi Arabia’s security or stability to be undermined, noting that, at the request of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, “Egypt will take any action to protect them and defend them.”
