King Meets Leader of the Opposition in the Australian Parliament

Al-Taj News – His Majesty King Abdullah II met in Canberra today, Wednesday, with Angus Taylor, Leader of the Opposition in the Australian Parliament, and they discussed the friendship relations between Jordan and Australia, and the most prominent regional and international developments.

During the meeting, held at the Parliament building, His Majesty stressed the need for the international community to intensify its efforts to de-escalate tensions in the region and halt the dangerous Israeli measures in the West Bank, Gaza, and Jerusalem.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi, Director of His Majesty the King’s Office Alaa Al-Bataineh, and Jordan’s Ambassador to Australia Janti Qalajouqa.
