After a Wave of Criticism… Sham Al-Dhahabi Retires from Singing for Good

Al-Taj News – Sham Al-Dhahabi has put an end to the criticism directed at her on social media platforms after releasing her first song, titled “Mawjat Al-Hob” (“Wave of Love”), which failed to achieve any notable views.

In media statements, Sham Al-Dhahabi confirmed that she would not pursue singing again, explaining that her decision was due to the widespread wave of criticism she faced following the release of her debut song. She added that this caused her mother, artist Assala, considerable distress, as she cannot tolerate any negative things surrounding her, according to Sham.

Assala had advised her daughter against pursuing singing in a previous video clip published by Sham, in which Assala appeared to object sarcastically to her daughter’s move into music.
