Coalition: Targeting Riyadh Airport Is a War Crime That Will Not Go Without a Firm Response

Al-Taj News – The official spokesperson for the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen, Major General Turki Al-Maliki, stated that the cowardly terrorist attack carried out by the Houthi militia on Saturday against one of the passenger terminals at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh resulted in deaths and injuries among civilian passengers and employees at the aviation facility.

Major General Al-Maliki affirmed that this targeting constitutes a fully-fledged war crime under the provisions and customary rules of international humanitarian law. He stressed that it is a heinous act that contradicts humanitarian principles, values, and ethics, as it targets vital civilian objects.
