Jordan .. Apartments Smaller Than 120 Square Meters Lead Sales Growth Last Month

Al-Taj News – Apartment sales in Jordan rose by 17% last September on an annual basis, coinciding with the continued implementation of a government decision that fully or partially exempts residential apartments from registration fees according to their area, amid sales growth across the three size categories, led by apartments smaller than 120 square meters, which rose by 24%.

According to the monthly report of the Department of Lands and Survey, total apartment sales during last September amounted to 3,976 apartments, compared with 3,384 apartments in the same month of 2025, an increase of 592 apartments, while sales rose by 7% compared with the previous August, which recorded the sale of 3,708 apartments.

At the level of the first nine months of the current year, total apartment sales amounted to 26,743 apartments, compared with 27,508 apartments during the same period last year, a decline of 3%, reflecting a contrast between improved sales during September and the market’s cumulative performance since the beginning of the year.

The data showed an 8% increase in sales of apartments ranging in area from 120 to 150 square meters during the first nine months of the current year, reaching 7,615 apartments, compared with 7,082 apartments during the same period of 2025, recording the highest growth rate among the three size categories since the beginning of the year.
