Al-Taj News – The Jordan Food and Drug Administration announced on Sunday the start of the pilot launch phase for 35 electronic services, in coordination with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, in preparation for their final launch.
The Director General of the institution, Rana Obeidat, confirmed that the pilot launch comes as part of the institution’s efforts to develop its services and transition toward providing integrated electronic services, contributing to simplifying procedures and speeding up processes, and supporting the business environment in the food, pharmaceutical, and medical sectors and economic growth by providing more efficient services to service recipients.
The institution stated that the services are distributed as follows: 9 services for service recipients in the Food Directorate, 8 services for the Directorate of Regions, which will be launched on a pilot basis at the Amman Office branch, 14 services for the Drug Directorate, two services for the Directorate of Medical Devices, Supplies and Cosmetics, in addition to two general services.
It explained that the pilot launch phase allows service recipients to use and benefit from the services and contribute, through their practical experience, to testing them and monitoring feedback about them, which helps develop and improve them before their final launch.
The institution called on all service recipients to take the initiative to create an electronic account for the establishment via the link: https://jfdaservices.jfda.jo/register or through the Quick Response (QR) Code.
