King Receives British National Security Adviser

Al-Taj News – His Majesty King Abdullah II received British National Security Adviser Jonathan Powell at Al Husseiniya Palace on Wednesday.

His Majesty stressed the need to intensify international efforts to reach a comprehensive regional de-escalation that ensures the security of Arab countries and restores stability to the region.

His Majesty the King stressed the need to halt the dangerous Israeli measures in the West Bank and Jerusalem, noting the importance of supporting Lebanon and Syria’s efforts to preserve their security, stability, and sovereignty.

The meeting also covered the depth of the Jordanian-British strategic partnership and mechanisms for advancing cooperation between the two countries.
