External Patrols Department Operations Officer Captain Ahmad Al-Shatti said Monday that the external roads are experiencing active and smooth traffic, with no significant obstacles.
He explained that the Irbid–Amman road is witnessing active and heavy traffic from the capital toward the northern governorates, with moderate traffic in the opposite direction, while the Development Corridor Road is witnessing active and heavy traffic in both directions.
On the Desert Highway, traffic was moderate toward Aqaba from the Ras Al-Naqab area, and light, occasionally becoming active, in the opposite direction, while the Zamileh area is witnessing moderate traffic in both directions.
During the same period, the external patrols dealt with a collision involving three vehicles beneath the Al-Ghabawi Bridge on the Mafraq–Amman road. The vehicles and obstacles were removed, and the road was reopened to traffic.
