Al-Taj News – Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said Saturday that Israel’s isolation on the international stage is continuously increasing.
Fidan made the remarks at a press conference in New York following his participation in the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Fidan said that “what Israel is committing of injustice and massacres is no longer going unanswered as it was in the past.”
He added that Israel’s international isolation is continuously increasing, pointing to the major role played by “firm diplomacy” in turning the international community’s sentiments into concrete and actionable protests, positions, and policies.
He added: “Türkiye, together with its partners and allies, is making intensive efforts using all diplomatic means, and we are clearly seeing the results of these efforts.”
He affirmed that Türkiye’s goal is to immediately end the tragedy in Gaza, increase humanitarian aid, and ensure that Palestinians do not live in anxiety about their future.
He stressed that Israel is now facing unprecedented circumstances on both the punitive and legal fronts, including at the levels of the International Court of Justice and criminal courts.
